In the past year she has worked on an Affordable Greenhouse Venture operating in several African countries. In the summer of 2015, she had the chance to spend a month working on this project in Zambia that helps to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers as well increase water savings. In 2016 she worked on the same greenhouse venture in Sierra Leone and conducted empirical research with a mushroom production project in Cambodia.
